Prey movie review

Prey cleans up Shane Black’s inexplicable clunkiness. Prey (2022) reduces Shane's movie description (and hence, the legendary alien beast), to its pro wrestle core. "Predator vs. Commando" was before "Predator Battle Royale". Lethal Weapon. Now it's "Predator against. Native Warrior" removes any pretense and leaves little room for other than one spectacularly staged and thrillingly brutal set piece after the next, with arrows and tomahawks flying as (link) the ultimate hunter takes his scalps. This film is an attempt to show where action filmmaking has been since 1987. What a delightful surprise.
